Bruce will complain the sun was shining and it got into the eyes of our defenders after a defeat

Chester to pick up an injury so Tommy can come in - oh forgot Bruce got rid without a replacement

Would happily take a defeat if it gets rid of Bruce

Our toughest league match so far.  With Blackburn away next week I would take four points from the two games with a draw from this one.  Will go 2-2 Grealish and Chester to get ours.

Not winning today isn't going to affect Bruce's status one iota. And much as I don't particularly see him as the best option, i would never wish us to loose  simply to herald someone's departure.

I'd never happily take a defeat? I hate it every time Villa lose.

1-1 draw for me. Despite a few lapses at the back already this season I think that generally speaking we won't concede many goals this campaign. I am however concerned about where our goals will come from. I don't expect us to be prolific in the goal scoring stakes.

Not sure if serious... if so, the opposite should apply - wobbly at the back but if Bruce can't get us averaging close to 2 goals a game with the attacking talent we now have he deserves to be driven back to live in Sunderland til he dies.

Don't  make a martyr of him Leicester Villan.  He is perfectly capable of presenting himself as one.

I’ve seen some strange opinions expressed on this site, but your last line is up there with the strangest.

Me too. Really want Bruce to prove me wrong today, match day is all about supporting the Villa , nothing else

yep, you don't back the manager like we have if you intend to sack him after 6 games. The mistake was backing him in the first place. I can see him going any time from next month till the end of the season but i don't think the timing of the sacking is gonna help us get up. Damage is already done.
