                          Nyland

hutton                Chester
Axel
Elmo
                           Whelan

El Ghazi            Jack Mcginn  Kodjia

                       Abrahams

Is that the new SB lineup/formation?
i wanted to squeeze another right back in, but I know Bree splits opinion so didn't want to risk it. If only we could get Mark Delaney back on the field

Bookies have the blades slight favourites. The H&V poll is a bit more decisive. Too many unknowns to call this, so with the cautious optimism that comes with a bad back that seems to be improving, I’m going for an away win!

That's because a load of people who didn't see us play on Tuesday are backing a side they may have seen play once this season (and get beat) to beat an almost entirely different Villa side.

Going to be another tough game. With our defence looking the way it is at the moment, I reckon a narrow defeat.

Perhaps we can narrow the pitch so there's only a right side?

Sheff U play some football around the pitch but attack wise quite ineffective and a bit huff puff.

They don't have a striker of Kodija pedigree and I think he will be difference .

1-2 today a much needed 3 points

Utv!

Is Tammy available?
It feels wrong saying that, can we hurry up and find a fitting new name for him on here.

Aston Villa have won five of their last seven away matches against Sheffield United in all competitions (D1 L1).

Aston Villa have won more points from losing positions this season than any other Championship team (7). In 2017-18, the Villans won 10 points from trailing situations.

Steve Bruce has won seven of his eight matches against Sheffield United as manager (D1), including all four at Bramall Lane.

I've gone for a draw this afternoon (1-1), but that could change - depending on the starting line-up. I know we have injury doubts ahead of the game (nothing new there then), so I expect a typical Bruceball performance to delight the travelling support. Lovely, great, super - and indeed - smashin'.
