It could not be this much of a mental line up if he was deliberately trying to get the sack.

Fucking no idea

We have never carried the floaty corner threat since Westwood left.

There is a lot less pointing these days as well
poor man's mark kinsella. There was a man who could point

Sounds like one of those matches you don’t mind missing.

Another shot, we've turned in Brazil '70!

Attempt missed. Henri Lansbury (Aston Villa) right footed shot from outside the box is too high.

From the official Twitter:
A pretty uneventful opening 15 minutes, with neither side registering an effort on goal. Tuanzebe has assumed a holding midfield role in front of De Laet, Elphick, Bree and Taylor. El Ghazi, Adomah and RHM operating as a front three.

So even they are so confused they are forgotten Lansbury and Hourihane, presumably in front of Tuanzebe. So 4-1-2-3?
Posted again as someone was asking for the line-up.

           Moreira
RDL - Elphick-Bree-Taylor
           Tuanzebe
    Lansbury-Hourihane
El Ghazi-Heburn-Murphy-Adomah
To be honest given the schedule we’ve had and the status of this cup, I think that’s a pretty sensible line up.  Would have preferred to see Axel at centre back, but valuable game time for most these players.  They need to show us they have the desire and quality to push for a 1st Xi place.

Who has been shot?

Please be Bruce. In the arse of course in a comedic jump up and down way

We should bring back homing pigeons.  The news came through faster.

HT: #BAFC 0-0 #AVFC...

No goals yet as we reach the break. Villa looking most threatening down the right-hand side through De Laet and Adomah as the game has gone on. Tuanzebe, Taylor and El Ghazi all solid. More cutting edge needed in the second half.

I'm probably going to leave the match thread ten minutes from the end.
Not getting stuck for this shite.

WM "it's been genuinely awful". And saying we've been pumping long high balls towards RHM. Villa fans chanted "we've had a shot" after the first and apparently Bruce looked up at the press box, not in anger but agreement at how bad it is. All according to WM.
