Guy just got on the train playing a Beatles song.

Got to admit, it's getting better....

In the old days, specialist full backs had one task: to deal with wingers. Force them oustide, and then block the cross, usually with was what was then called a sliding tackle. Our own Charlie Aitken was an exemplar of the trade.

Now, a winger is a luxury, and just needs pace plus one trick. Bolassie has prodigious pace plus 4 or 5 tricks. He is lethal in this division.

The downside is that Everton will want him back.

Not sure they will. For his trickery and some end product, he gives the ball away a fair bit too - against lesser quality defenders. With the players we have and in this league, its not much of a problem but he would soon frustrate Everton coaches and fans.

Keep them fit and him Abraham will tear this league apart. And in style.

Just worry about the fitness bit!

Last night he looked like he was taking the piss against players several levels below him.

He’s quick, skilful and strong. There were periods where he looked like he could get into boro’s box and make space so easily he almost surprised himself and the final ball suffered as a result. Absolute baller.

I said when we signed him that if (and it was a fairly big if at the time) we could get him fit and on form he would be a stand out player in the Championship.

And I'll take your £20 bet.

Don't worry about it mate, I don't really want to take money off a Villa fan. If you feel the urge to spend twenty quid, stick it in the Acorns bucket next game or something like that. 👍🏿

I thought he was great today. The lack of movement in midfield left him in limbo for the final ball. Hourihane is not the answer there.

He was carrying the fight on his own today.
He was getting frustrated with Hourihane.

I thought he was a headless chicken today.  His decision making and final balls were dreadful.
