1-0 up, playing 10 men away to a side yet to win this season and have won 2 of their last 14, and we end up looking unlikely to win and are struggling to even have a shot.

It’s why we’ll only be there or thereabouts

I guess there's a reason why we haven't won our opening three games of the season since the 1930s. before I was born.

1962/63 was the last time we won the opening 3 league games.

I really hope we win.

Whatever the outcome, there has to be a calm but challenging evaluation of Bruce, i.e. not allow him to spout platitudes like "sometimes 10 can play/defend better than 11".

Not having a clear plan as to how we create chances and no evident intent instilled in the players we have to rely on a favourable decision or someone to do something special and that is not good enough.

Whatever the quality of the players - any group should be capable of being coached to understand what their intent/approach is and how they will use the ball and create chances.

Without being hysterical, simply not good enough.

11 against 10 is where teams with a really well developed pattern of play should always win . . .

Leeds have apparently just scored another lovely goal with some free flowing football.

That's a side coached by a bloke who doesn't even speak English.

Yet Bruce can't get out lot to string more than three passes together against ten men.

We have not played well in 3 games, we have no discernible style of play.
Eventually it catches up with you.

I wonder if we've had three easier games since the 1930s.

I think that is fair enough.  Our lack of an obvious identity is the one thing I think Bruce and the coaching staff are completely culpable for.

You are being hysterical. I watched Cardiff play Newcastle earlier. Well, half watched. Both teams shit and didn’t have a clue.

I forgot how all doom and gloom it is on here.

I reckon in the 4 games combined so far this season you'd struggle to find an hour in total we've played well. And all 4 sides we've played have been shit.

How bad a team would we have to be drawing with for Bruce to consider taking off a defender for an attacking player?
