Just a thought. Maybe we could have a thread just for match highlights. Just to keep them in one place. People post them from different sources, so sometimes I'm flicking through old match threads to see them.

Kick it into touch if you think its a crap idea.

Looking at the highlights of Villa v Bournemouth 1972 in that thread, I came across this



A cracking game with a superb winner and oh, how we could do with a central defensive pairing like those two now.  Apologies for the poor quality but, well worth a watch.  I was right in line with the winner.  Ten minutes in and you hear the obligatory SOTV, and that was thirty-eight years ago.
