Well done Villa, I'm going to wake my Villa mad grandson now and tell him the result.

As I said in the match thread, well done Bruce. His pitch to the new guys would've been focused on the virtues of continuity and team spirit, and whatever our flaws tonight we did not lack those.

We’re still a long way behind Leeds because of passion or something.

You're getting predictably dull now.

Not sure Jack contributed a lot tonight so don’t worry we can still be good without him
But compare his touch to that of Thor. The ball just sticks to him. We will miss him so much if he goes.
Jack was superb and clearly the best player on the pitch. If he goes he will be impossible to replace. He will grace any premier team

A workmanlike win against a very poor hull side

Kodjia was awful we desperately need a new striker and if as expected grealish goes a creative link. That said grealish played so deep tonight he doesn’t affect the game enough for me.

A lot of work to do but a win is a win

In a vacuum I'd rather have Leeds' manager than ours, but out of the vacuum it's fair to say our team really looked like a team that's played together for a few years and are comfortable in themselves, which in football is a real intangible.

Poor performance but did enough to beat a dismal Hull

3 Points and hopefully improve ...we go again

Cant the season end now??

Got to say the Sky pichtside commentator, Liam Rosenior, is excellent.

Haven't got Sky so cannot comment however he's been touted as a 'brainy footballer' for a while and predicted to become a good manager.   He was doing his badges and coaching whilst winding down his career if I recall correctly.
