Poor lad doesn’t deserve to be sent to Coventry.

If RHM is to go out on loan i hope it is Charlton and not those Villa haters down the A45 .

Mentioned in the Davis thread that o'Hare made a big difference because he created space and played between the lines. If he'd been allowed to go on loan last year (along with RHM) I think we'd be in a much better place now because they'd know how much more physical first team football is and have had 6 months working on it. JDH should've gone out in the summer as well but Bruce seemed to want to kep these lads at the club but then refused to give them any game time so they've just stalled in their progress.

Can RHM just stay fit for a few weeks/months please? Because he’s so much a better option off the bench than Hogan...

They need loans, except Davis.

Agree rhm, ohare looked promising. But it's just not thay competitive. Some proper mens football will sharpen them up

For some reason, I'm desperate for RHM to come good for us. Haven't felt that way about a prospect since Luke Moore, just seem to have fallen for the black Russian.

I really want him to make it because there's a spark of quality there, his goal on Monday was superb.

U23s are away to Norwich right now but I can't find the line up anywhere.

Out on loan for the rest of the season.

Typical Villa U23 this season .After thrashing United 5-1 on Monday  they manage to lose to Norwich 2-1 .It was the first win in 13 games for Norwich

Isn't losing away to Norwich just evidence that they're ready for the first team?

Went to watch the Youth Team on Saturday 12 O'Clock KO against Arsenal at Bodymore.
I would have put a report on earlier probably but the First Team result ruined my Weekend once again and I have not had the heart to log in to Heroes until now.
I would guess there are several more Villa Fans that avoid the website and all talk of the Match for a day or so after such a disappointing result.  I am old enough to know better but it still hurts me to my very soul when we lose.
Give me a day or so to recover and I will be back as optimistic as ever.
If others feel the same as I do when we lose and want their Villa fix without the heartache I would recommend they start watching the Junior Teams.
It is all about player development so although I want us to win, winning isn't all that matters.  We lost to Arsenal but it isn't the end of the world and I enjoyed Ben Guy in Midfield.

So I got home at 2.30 having watched a Villa defeat but still in a good mood. Three hours later, after losing at Wigan in embarrassing circumstance's I was devastated and in a foul mood.

So I would recommend that if you have had enough of the shit this club puts you through focus your attention on the Youth and U21s, we usually win, you can park outside the ground and you are not too upset if we lose.
Meanwhile I will ignore my own advice no doubt.

The biggest concern for me whenever we discuss our academy is why we seemingly have such a big disparity between that level and the first team. We’ve had lots of players who have made it in the game but generally elsewhere. And I get it at PL the jump up is much greater so will take longer. But now in the Championship we have to develop more players who can step in to offset poor form or injuries. That and take more risks. The game the other night highlighted that. 5-1 vs Man U in the U23’s yet at Championship level not one of those players is legitimately considered an option for a struggling first team. That needs to change.
