I was at Elland Road last night and it was a good evening - good atmosphere and good vibes generally. Pricing wasn't crazy.
Downsides: (i) ER really is a bit of a shithole; (ii) the Leeds fans in the crowd were rather too interested in Leeds; (iii) my tickets were in the North stand - their 'kop' - so I was surrounded by meatheads who insisted on standing throughout the game and trying to start off the No Surrender bollox.

I watched the second half on the telly. It sounded like a Costa Rican band was playing with everybody chanting non-stop. All I heard from Engerlund was boring old God save the Queen.

A 'New Villa Park' / National Stadium just off the M5 near Worcester is the way to go.

I don't like to swear at a fellow villa fan so ill just say you can eff off with that one.

I certainly think somewhere in between Birmingham and London would be good, about an hour for midlanders and an hour for cockneys, a bit closer for Northerners and no London traffic.

Keep Wembley, but just play more games around the country.

Totally the right way to go. So long as they're fair about it and not just use Old Trafford as England's second home.

As I understand it, the reported sale price reflects that fact that the FA retain certain rights and ticket receipts. Therefore I’d assume most key matches would still be at Wembley however the stadium will undoubtedly be utilised for more events/concerts/NFL etc

With the debts paid off (presumably) you’d hope that the FA would explore moving the games around the England games around the country though.
