Bruce can very possibly take some credit for the maturing of Jack Grealish but against that has to be set the stalling of the careers of Green, Davis, Hepburn-Murphy, Suliman and O'Hare. I do not hold the view that Bruce can do nothing right only that it is too little.
Twitter saying Middle East investment and no incomings or OUTGOINGS !! Tied to that. Now, wouldn’t that be lovely?
Hold tight #avfc fans. Nothing concrete, but all the evidence suggests a deal is being worked upon and close. No incomings or outgoings is a big one. Any change in this area will effect sale price and value of club, so makes sense everything is on hold. Deal or Admin #XiaOut

He brought in players like Terry, Snodgrass and Grabban, and sorted Jack out so that he now looks like a potential world beater. However, it was a shit or bust approach with few lasting benefits, and overall his standard of football and tactics, which most people thought wouldn't be good enough, weren't good enough. Half time at Wembley for the play off final was the most dejected I've felt about football in a long time. It was clear as day that Bruce had got everything wrong that day and we weren't going up, and were probably bollocksed as a result.Beaten by a better team. Happens.

I tweeted earlier: Never going to happen but wouldn’t it be amazing if the Middle Eastern investors turn out to be richer than Mansour and Fosun put together. Shut a few piss takers up. Bound to be be some tin-pot outfit though knowing our luck. Then I’ve just read this: Majid Al Futtaim is a name mentioned on Twitter. As of March 2017, Al Futtaim's net worth is estimated by Forbes at US$10.9 billion, the second richest individual in the Middle East. We’re not that lucky are we?

Could be something in it then? Come on let us have some hope, even if it’s for a few hours:(
