It's about as detailed a statement as I've seen a club produce.

The problem is some posters here since we lost the play offs final ( by one goal) and paid a tax bill late want our owner to be outed as Carsonlite. He clearly isn’t that man and is again throwing millions in the club to keep it going.

His choice of manager is open to debate, but I think the money he puts in is not.

Is it possible Our Tone borrowed the money to buy the club or that he's the front man for a group of investors? That might explain his reluctance to leave the table.

I get all the level headed responses, I really do. But what really bugs me is how flippant people are with the realisation we are going to sell our best players. 3 names mentioned in the last 2 pages - Grealish, Chester, Kodjia. How many points have they won us on their own over the last two seasons? A bucket load. It’s been proven time and time again, a team of good players will only excel with 2 or 3 stars that add the X factor. There is nobody else that can carry us. They go, we stay down for the foreseeable future. Our kids won’t fill the gaps and keep us at the same level as last season.

I totally agree.
I wish I could give a level headed response and put a brave face on, I'm certainly old enough too.

I really interested in what you think any alternative solution is?
What EXACTLY has Xia done wrong (other than not sack Bruce.. (and I was/am still in favour of that)? What should he have done differently?
Rather than raging like you seem to be, or tying to accept the reality, like many others seem to be doing, please tell what other options are available to us?

Absolutely! and now we're going to have to put up with the repercussions of it. We've just been told that, loud and clear. And also that we know we fucked up and have a more cautious sensible period ahead of us.

So do we carry on moaning about it, which will achieve absolutely nothing or do we take it on the chin, except we've been told the situation and get on with our job which is to turn up and support the team on the pitch ?

Nobody is happy with what's happened. But it's happened. Nothing is going to change it.

It's just this groundhog day style groaning over the same things over and over that wear me out.

Buy a ticket, turn up and support the team/club, it's the only one we've got after all.

The second tier is about good management making the very best of the resources available to them, IMHO.
