Yeah I’m still quite nervous and think there’s a good chance that Boro will score, possibly first

Adama against Bree doesn’t bear thinking about; but presumably Hutton wil follow him like glue

Interesting whether he plays Whelan or Jedinak. Whelan will be fresh, but Jedinak was SO good today he must be tempted to keep him

Jedinak is ideal for countering Pulisball. Terry aside and Chester to an extent, not many of our lads are capable to compete defensively in the air. Can't see Jedinak lasting 90mins mind on Tuesday.

First goal will be everything. They get it then it's game on but if score then you'd back us to manage it to the end.

That twat of a ref always has to put his stamp on the game and make a name for himself. He had clearly decided that Grealish and Snodgrass were buying fouls by going down too easily, and gave both players fuck all.

That might be as good as it gets.  It’s Mike Dean on Tuesday!

You never know from game to game with Hourihane whether he'll play like Platt or Westwood.

I find him a very good home player where we should be attacking but it's just not his game when we play away, and mainly on the counter. The away games he's done well in we've gone at the opponent. But I would play him on Tuesday as he's got goals in him.

Great result today,  Let’s finish this 👊⚽️ @AVFCOfficial #AVFC #PlayOffs #UTV #championship

Good old JPA. One of his songs got an airing during the game today in the pouring rain at the Six Yard Box in Elephant and Castle.

A typical Steve Bruce performance, we played most of the game after we scored defending.
Can we get through to the PLplaying like this?

Perhaps more importantly (?), would we survive the PL playing like this?

Considering we only had 2,000 there what is now yesterday, we made an awful lot of noise and it took for ever to get out of the ground at the end.

We could be out until tomorrow and Johnstone wouldn't have made a save.

Ha! Well yeah except from the couple he made.
Yes amazing what you see when you watch differently.

I didn't see him make a save second half. I can only recall the Asombalonga chance really.

They created fuck all. We defended excellently.

We defended excellently. As the stats show, it was a case of give us your best shot.. now piss off and stop complaining.

I'm really looking forward to the Holte singing on Tuesday, "There's only one Tiny Penis". Loud and proud. What a tosser!

Adama remains the one that worries me, people can say he’s all show but he was a big threat tonight and he’s contributed to 14 of their goals this year. I think he’s a big talent, still raw but gettin better.

Agreed. By the time he's 40 he'll be almost world class. Until then, we have ALAN HUTTON! Love him.

Great day yesterday.

My ONLY disappointment was the effort of first Grabban, and then Kodjia. If we're going to play one up front, they need to battle and fight to hold the ball up. Neither did anything near enough and Grabban got an earful from John Terry.

Job done though, a superb effort defensively and great noise from our 2000, at least the ones who weren't trying to beat each other up!
