Had to laugh at Pulis complaining about wasting time by Johnstone when we had all those towelling moments.

Thought it was a perfect away performance that sees us at home with a one goal head start. This against a manager who will not be comfortable having to chase a game which is exactly what he will need to do. I felt we had the bounce of the ball at times. The big concern I guess is how we fill in for Elmo given their main threat plays down the wing. There's not many options if they target the deputy.

Is Elmo out then?

Nothing confirmed but it sure didn't look promising.

Great stat.  Villa have conceded the fewest goals out of all the divisions in the last 15 minutes of games this season.

I was convinced Sky were going to jinx us by broadcasting that stat but thankfully not.

We could be out until tomorrow and Johnstone wouldn't have made a save.

Ha! Well yeah except from the couple he made.
Yes amazing what you see when you watch differently.

Have read somewhere that it was a hamstring. If so we won't see him again until the World Cup.

I didn't see him make a save second half. I can only recall the Asombalonga chance really.

They created fuck all. We defended excellently.

I’d forgotten Pulis teams using a fucking towel at every throw in.

Should be fucking banned that.

Good performance, anybody else think those centre halves are still good enough for some of top six in premiership? James Chester is a right bcd for pulls , nonsense. I was surprised jedinak ahead of Whelan, but the manager did great again. Not sure Kodjia is up to pace, would have brought BB and then hogan myself
