For those concerned about momentum - Huddersfield lost 3 of their last 4 games last season, by 4-1, 2-0 and 3-0. They had zero momentum going into the playoffs and yet still won them.
Didn’t they win semi and final on penalties? I felt sure they were heading out second leg at Wednesday but they rallied and equalised.

Onomah must be close to replacing either Adomah or hourihane for at least one of the play off games

He’s got energy and more quality on the ball

We don’t really have a proper alternative at left wing. Green doesn’t look ready. Grabban could play There but none of the alternative CF options look like a starter

I’d definitely sell Hogan if we could get anywhere near double figures. Can’t imagine many championship teams paying his wages though.

Onomah’s strongest position for me would be playing alongside Grealish as an attacking midfielder in a three man midfield, so that would mean him replacing Hourihane really.  He has looked good coming on in the last few weeks though and has brought a bit more energy to the closing stages so maybe Bruce will continue to use him in that role.

We might need the wide players to defend a bit more in the first leg so I could see us going with Snodgrass and Adomah, but I would go with either Kodjia or Grabban on the left at home with the other playing centrally.

I enjoyed watching Harrogate Town win their first play-off yesterday. Now for Brackley Town next Sunday!

My son loved it, he said when the 94th minute winner went in the place went mad!

Agreed on Kodjia - along with Grealish still our most dangerous player on the ball. He just needs a run of games and the first goal to go in.

Have a horrible feeling his ankle injury has severely limited his mobility which was his main attribute. JPA and Bent had similar injuries and weren't the same players again. Kodjia was very impressive v Cardiff but hasn't kicked on since. 1 goal in 15 league appearances this season, Hogan with 6 in 37. Good job Grabban has been on fire since arriving.

1 in his last 18 going back 13 months, and that was a pen. We need him to get his mojo back.

this was the point I was trying to make earlier - he just doesn't seem to have the fluidity of of movement he had before - I'm hoping that this is just him being circumspect as he regains fitness and confidence, but it is becoming a bit of a worry.

We will need Adamoah's discipline on left to help Hutton with Traore.

Who was the Villa fan in the Speedos and arm bands yesterday? Bet his sun burn is as bad as mine this morning. We had a great afternoon at the Southwark Tavern afterwards.

A good afternoon featuring a conversation with a decent Millwall fan and a magician who was brilliant and made a few bob in tips from us

Was he as good as the magician who got two quid out of your pocket without you knowing?

Didn't Brackley have a half decent basketball team in the early days of Channel 4 and live basketball on a Monday night?

Majority must be sub appearances.

That was more pickpocket than magician.

At one point the magic fella put his lit cigarette through my shirt - I nearly punched him but then his fag disappeared and my shirt was still intact.
