6-6.

That type of score line can only occur is Leeg is there at the start of the game to watch Villa go 6 down by half time.

He then leaves and the inevitable comeback occurs

Although it was Nelson with the cross.

Appropriate given today's music news, that we highlight a contribution by Fernando

Do we now want to lose tomorrow and draw at Millwall so we get a chance to play Derby over two games and avoid Boro until the final?

Yeah I think 1 point in 2 games and playing a team that just beat you at home is perfect prep.

Why the sarcasm ? It was a reasonable question - Do you not think we would have a better chance against Derby than Boro over two legs ? Winning all remaining five games would be great however in my humble opinion I don't think we can achieve that

It's not reasonable though is it, pondering what any of us want to happen. We all want to win.

Because it's a daft scenario. I want villa to win every game they play. Whatever.  We won more than 5 after Christmas. Derby after beating Cardiff and villa would be on the up.  Derby beating us doesn't guarantee them 5th. Would much rather we pushed for 2nd or 3rd and played the 6th team in play offs which more likely could be derby or milwall who we might have just beaten. Apologies for the sarcasm but it was a daft question.

It's always daft to want to lose games for some perceived benefit later. It's pure bonkers when we don't even have any idea what this benefit would be. Who's to say Boro won't lose their next two and drop out completely? Why would we want to avoid them in the first place? Crackers.

Fulham winning doesn't change things. 2 wins Nd we can still go up automatically. Things may change after Cardiff play but until then don't give up.

I find it amazing that people still do.

I'm amazed this is near a sell out considering the game probably doesn't mean much for us. I'm not going so am intrigued to hear why other casual supporters have chosen to go ?
Are you actually a Villa supporter?
You don’t understand why it is a sell out and you aren’t going?
