Those Henson shirts just make me think of a grim season ending in relegation.

And losing at Oxford in the League Cup semi final.

Anyone knows where this season's away shirt is still available in medium size by any chance? Online store has the small, medium and large sizes sold out.

When I was in the club shop I think on Monday, they had the away in lots of sizes.

Thanks for the information.

If any kind soul could get me a medium one from the club shop and send it over to Belgium I would be very grateful.

That and empty Villa Park nights, Doug trying to convince us Andy Blair and Steve Hunt would be the salvation to that disaster of a season

I had the Henson home shirt and despite all its associations with our mid-80s nadir, the quality of the material marks it out as possibly the best made Villa shirt of the polyester era.

I was looking at mine the other day. It is very well made in fairness, but it’s a horrible Villa shirt and was much criticised when it came out.

Can you imagine it now if a Villa shirt came out without a badge?

Nobody is suggesting it will, it is being mentioned because we were talking about the Henson kit which had no badge on it.

I’ve just had one of the Henson reproductions. They’re really well made. The Henson and Mita are not stuck on , but within the fabric, so won’t come off.

I really liked the home one back then. In fact one of my favourite kits ever. Yet I detested the away one which I thought was a monstrosity.
