I'm a glory hunter, I only watch the end of the semis and final.

I don't begrudge Wu at all, and i'd feel the same if Murphy had the luck of that cue ball. Just feel like it was a bit of a shame it was some luck that decided a fantastic match.

I've never been a big fan of Murphy, but I've really enjoyed watching him in this tournament. His cue action was a joy to watch, and he's probably played the best snooker of his life, which would have been enough to win it in any other year. It would have been a great story for him to win 21 years after his first, whereas Wu will likely win a few more in the coming years.

Delighted for Wu. So refreshing to see two new world champions, last year and this year. I know it's not popular but too many from the 90s are still knocking around.

What a final.

Yeah, incredible standard. My only concern longer term, is that if snooker becomes a game of a decent break-off, then the opponent immediately cracks in a long pot followed by a clearance/free winning break, then it would become quite dull as a spectacle.

Murphy has always been a great player to watch, even though I don't really like him, IMO. Still five finals one win is almost Jimmyesque.

Just a shame the final is so short, I miss the 145 frame days.

I would, genuinely, add a couple of sessions to the final and have the tournament start on Friday. Final should be significantly longer than the semi, IMO. Can't see it happening though. Annoys me that they reduced the UK Championship matches.

The Crucible's alright for the final, but it's never been the same since it moved from the British Legion Club in Selly Park.

Bollocks to him, the fat Tory boy.

He's a twat and has bigger tits than my sister - and my sister has some big aul' tits.

Great final and good result! It's not fair to complain about the old guard still being involved whatever that little twat Stan Moody says. It won't last much longer but, If they're still good enough to compete, why shouldn't they?

Wuuuuu
Stop it!

This is a genuine Sopranos situation, as she's going out with a huge Russian bloke.
