Bruce teams always have runs like this.  Our hope of the top 2 rested on us not having one for 4-5 months which was a big ask.

He really needs to stop wiping out the midfield whenever we're chasing a game though, it's a shit tactic that doesn't work in the slightest and just removes any chance of of sneaking something late on.

Was a Remi Guarde sort of performance.
Bruce clueless to change matches.  Doesn’t do midfields.
I sack him a get JT to fire them up for play offs.

Grealish gave the ball away early second half and it set a tone.

Desperate second half with endless long balls that were never going to stick. Absolutely tedious and frustrating beyond reason.

I'm not sure you can blame Bruce for Alberts misses in the first half.

We have bottled it. Without doubt.
Derby shat first, and we have followed.

Johnstone suddenly looks nervous as fuck, punching when he should catching, sliced kicks and no urgency.
Too many players are making poor decisions and making individual errors.

I don’t think it’s anything to do with us thinking we just needed to turn up against qpr, Bolton and Hull and we would win.
I think we peaked against the dog heads, got into a marvellous position only to shit our pants.

How the fuck these lot will cope in the playoffs is a big,big worry.

What a poor three games. This is so worrying.

Is Steve Bruce going to have enough to tactically outwit someone for 2 or 3 tight / tense play off games?
