Noticed no festival 18 topic for tips or fancies and have a couple like to mention so started new topic.
Festival covered by Racing UK ITV and radio stations as well as all book makers
If anyone has any thoughts or tips, maybe they are going to festival itself this can be place to share stories and any thing else.
So day one had a fair few favs win.
Anyone strike big?!
I had decent money backing a few favs with winners Coo Star Sivola 5-1 and odds on fave Buveur D'Air. Along with Footpad. Who had at evens.
Cheltenham day 2
To win

2.10 PRESENTING PERCY 5/2
3.30 ALTIOR 11/10
4.10 LAST SAMURI 6/1
Each way Selections
1.30 Vision des Flos 16/1
2.10 Black Corton 10/1

Sorry this is not a festival. Every year horses die.

Okay. So that's good point to make actually as it's to be remembered and respectful to the horses that do pass away.
I guess I mention festival for humans but yes horse animals don't seem to have a say. That's a good point made sorry if offended you in anyway. Good to see view points of this and make me aware.
Similarly gambling itself may not be to everyone's liking so I only put up to share and certainly don't mean to offend any one.

I don't think anyone would be so precious or snowflake-esque to be offended by this thread at all. Each to their own. I personally can't stand horse racing. Bores me senseless.

I also got a couple of winners yesterday. Nothing really takes my fancy today so just backing Mischievous Max e/w in the 1450 currently at 22/1.
This festival is great and really must go for a day one year.

I love horse racing but only jumps. Flat racing leaves me cold. Its a shame when horses die though and I suppose I employ cognitive dissonance to square my contradictory views on the sport.

I am not offended mate I just think calling it s festival is somehow wrong when horses die. It’s a horse racing betting event nothing more, fun for us human beings.

Hoof Hearted is a good each-way bet. Ask your bookie when she is running.
