We're comfortably top from the point we stopped the head-start we gave everyone else (up to the win against Fulham), aren't we?

From the date of the Fulham game. Couldn't squeeze Wolves in, but they are as much a waste of time as in the actual table.

I'm a lurker for the most part, but it felt like a good time to give this thread a bump. We were bound to have a rough patch at some point, and in the grand scheme of things, this isn't particularly rough. Trust in Unai! UTV

Some positives.

Newcastle are perhaps our most like for like current rivals, they finished above us last season, they’re currently 14 points below us.

Liverpool spent £450m pound in the summer transfer window, they’re currently 8 points below us.

Oh, and the upcoming trip to the custard bowl will be the last for a while.

I’m still very positive. We went on a similarly bad run at the start of the season and managed to recover.

I’m positive - we were always going to have a ropey run. All teams have them, and whilst our last two home results have been rubbish, the last two away results are more than decent. We do need to find our form and get some wins on the board, but we’re still in a great spot.

Good to see you back, less lurking and more gurning (but not randy gurning).
