We still have great owners, and were expanding the stadium.

Also on the way to being a global brand.  I went camping with some friends at the weekend (see other thread), but chatting to one of my mates sons and he really liked Villa.

He said he reckoned by next years trip he'll have added Villa to the teams he supports.  Which so far is Arsenal, Man City, Inter Miami, Real Madrid, Barcalona and PSG

So we're in good company!

How old is he and what country was this?  ;D
8 - kids seem to support players more than teams - at least when there young.

- We're still in the title race
- Ollie is scoring
- We've got most of our tough fixtures out the way

I still think it's on  8)

Funny, I thought that Ollie's last goal 'didn't count' because he missed a chance earlier in the game?

Strange how the goalposts keep moving...

Can you quote where I said that pal?

If it happened you would be able to post it.

This is the positivity thread.

If you want to talk negatively about our striker, do it on that thread.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

With city dropping points and Arsenal crowned champions after 19 games, I’ve a sneaking feeling its going to be our year, btw I’m a pessimist.

Surely Man City will get their punishment for the 115 charges before the end of the season? ( Although I said that last season)
And with it a points deduction ?

That will do nicely!  Deano wins 2 trophies for Villa then!

In all seriousness do the premier league hope that we all "forget" Cite£s small 115 indiscretions?*

You would think so wouldnt you?

*actually did they not have even more added to their case taking them over +130?

If there was a week to drop points, this was it.
Our Arsenal result aside, it was a pretty bloody good week for us.

Now to build and go again.
Top 3 MUST be a realistic goal from where we are, with players to come back and the points we have in the bag.

They did.

They need to make sure that everything is watertight and there are no mistakes, and do it for all 130 charges. It's going to take time.

In my opinion, from the moment they failed to cooperate, they should have been suspended from competing in the PL. Its not right that they've been allowed to 'win' leagues since they were charged, and affect the other clubs (we missed out on the CL last season because of them).

The longer it takes, the worse it'll be for them I think. If it was a not guilty verdict we'd have heard by now.
