Rules of the jungle: Lions v Wolves. There will only ever be one outcome. Lions all day long. Lions 4, Wolves 1.

The dog heads had the full on Villa Park experience tonight! There's only one mega club in the Midlands. The rest are all upstarts! UTV

Having watched it live & then again on tv since got back one thing stood out to me, when they scored & when they made substitutions they didn’t look like an in it together camp.  I wonder if all the focus around money and how they are going about it has created a bit of a divide in the squad?

Magnificent performance from us & good luck to the physios & masseurs putting the players back together for Tuesday

Just read this on the Molineux Mix. How deluded are the Dogheads?

We were undone by the brilliance of Grealish he was fantastic tonight. Hope we go up and they don't cos if that's the case we need to try and sign him. Grabben better than Afobe I'm afraid gives so much more and rememer the Lewis Grabben thread folks. He would have got us over the line. Could be a costly mistake.

Wow.
They were the better team after they equalised and until half time,
The second half we got closer to them and put them under pressure.
The ref was awful again.
Unhappy with Hourihanes performance.
Taylor had a poor first half but was very good in the second.
Grealish was outstanding and one of the best individual performance by a Villa player for Avery long time.
It’s been along day and a long time since I have experienced that atmosphere at VP.

Doesn't strike me as much wrong with saying "try and sign him".

No different to me saying "if we go up and Fulham don't we should try and sign Sessegnon and that full back."

That performance surpasses anything we saw in the 1974-75 season.

Even second half v Albion & Manchester United?

Agreed, particularly the Albion game when we were 1-0 down. There must have been 45,000 there that day too.

To be honest once they equalised I thought Wolves were the better team in the first half. Once we were ahead though I thought we were magnificent. But generally a great team performance and some outstanding individuals, notably Jack.

Weirdly I can only recall one real save from either keeper, a save low down by Johnstone in 2nd half.

And the atmosphere was wonderful. A rocking Villa Park is a place to behold.

Sounds amazing mate!

Is it true Wolves had a meeting with the head of Championship refs about teams targeting their flair players earlier this week?

Have a look at that second half, they were taking it in terms to try to hack Grealish off the pitch. Had a good go at Snodgrass aswell.

At least 2 of their players should have been sent off for persistent fouling. On the other side of the coin, they should have a penalty. The referee was poor quality mince, as are most of them in this division.

Usually jinx things with my predictions- but thought we’d win this. Never thought it would be by 3 though.

Up the Villa!

Villa have no chance of signing Sessegnon and Wolves have no chance of signing Jack

Amazing win villa.  i was running 2 hrs behind and was texted it was a draw so it was weird seeing the goals going in .

Excellent all round again. That second half was a delight. Snodgrass & Grealish a joy to watch but we defended well as a unit too. Chester had a good game and the sight of Terry in the referee’s ear every time there’s a decision of any note, regardless of where it takes place on the pitch, continues to amuse.

We’re in the ascendancy. UTV.
