There's no denying that wolves are a good side but so what? I have never feared us playing anyone at Villa Park especially with a big crowd there. There's plenty of times when my blind faith in AVFC has been misjudged but that was against the likes of Man U under Fergie, Liverpool in there pomp and various illustrious clubs from all over Europe. So I'm not about to get worried about a bunch of scruffy fuckpigs from Tipton. 2-1 to the club unrivalled, from Aston.

fixed that little typo for you there mate 😉

A Leeds-supporting mate was eulogising about Wolves; the best team he’s ever seen in this division. He claims they are quick, clever and strong. He particularly noted their large DMF (I don’t know the Wolves team so cannot name him).
So, can we raise our game?

Sounds like he's deflecting from how utterly shite Leeds are. They were Sunderland with a bit of headless chicken running.
Maybe. I trust his judgement. Maybe Wolves are the real deal.

And yet Fulham beat them easily

I agree the midfield is crucial

I’m confident about jack

But Jedinak and hourihane can both look pretty slow and ponderous against these sort of sides. That’s my main concern. They’ve very lively on the ball

Elmo getting the overlap with Snodgrass could be key. And grealish getting into pockets of space also.

Well, Fulham certainly beat us easily ... I didnt see the Fulham-Dogheads game.
There’s no question we’ll give a good account of ourselves to Moore but my original post was a note of caution.
Is all.

My bonce says a Wolves win; & my heart obviously screams a Villa victory.

A draw it is then: 1-1

I think we will beat them.

Adomah
Hourihane
Grealish
Snoddy

Grabban

That's about as strong an attack as exists in this league. Grealish is the linchpin.

Plenty of room to graze ya 'oss down the Cracker bae tha.

I worked in Smethwick as a summer job and they were all yammers from West Brom and the like and Tipton was the but of the jokes. Always involving horses, carts and scrrrrrrrrap iron.

Do the locals not try and lynch you for being a reader?

We just need a couple of his 25 yard piledrivers to go the right side of the post for a change.  He's had a few in his last few games that have just flashed a few inches wide.  I'd love it if a local lad won the game for us, that would say more to Wolves than an EFL enquiry.
