Just got my tickets. They wouldn't commit if close to a sell-out, just 'very busy'.

Still about 4k in the Trinity when I looked last night

I'd keep Hogan. upfront. He does a lot off the ball, chasing and harrying and Thor as dm. 2-1 villa with our usual panic for the last 10 minutes in games like this.

I fear a draw, but dream of a win. 1-0 would be great. I would go Thor for his mobility against a very fast breaking Wolves. Jedi can come in against QPR, but I think either would be sound choices.
Forest beat them 2-0 by playing a pressing game. If we want a win rather than a draw, that has to be the tactic. Need Jack, Albert, Snoddy, Hourihane and who ever is upfront in their faces from the off.

I have just seen that the ref is the buffoon who booked Grealish for diving in the Burton home game a few weeks back when it was as clear a penalty as you could hope for. On that occasion it seemed to inspire Jack who then scored an immaculate volley. I was there and felt he got about half of the key decisions wrong , affecting both teams! I wonder what criteria the EFL use to allocate refs? One of our biggest games of the week, who has ballsed up recently and might just redeem themselves or be reduced to a jibbering wreck, I know.... I sincerely hope he is not going to cost us big time on Saturday, although he as likely to get it wrong in our favour I guess as, I do not think he is in anyway bias in dishing out patently bad decisions...

After the shite we endured in the last few years of the premiership and to a lesser extent the non event that was last season as we sorted our mess out - isn't it great to be excited to be facing a big important game in the final throws of the season with everything riding on it.

To me its what makes the rollercoaster ride of football emotions

Just hope we turn up and play like we did in the last derby

Will be watching this somewhere near to the Merry Hill. Is that Baggies or Wolves area? Hope to find a decent pub but if I can’t il watch it on my iPad in my hotel room.
Anyway, Villa 3-1 Wolves. Terry, Grabban and Uncle Albert.

With all the hyperbole, I hope it isn't 0-0.

Jack to score a 89th min winner curled beautifully into the top corner ala' Merson v Coventry (May 2001). Cue bedlam for at least 3 minutes.

Mixed but I would imagine any pub will be populated by woodwork emergers.

For the discussion of Jedinak or Thor the only worry I have is that Brucey doesn’t bottle it and pick both.

Normally I’d go Jedinak all day but watching them last night they had 2/3 constantly operating in the #10 hole so we need mobility of Thor and leave Terry & Chester to keep Bonatini quiet.

Need to guard against giving away silly free kicks within 30yards of goal, particularly in wide areas where Douglas delivery is a threat.  For me side that defends set pieces best will win

Would also say that when they go up they will need a better goalkeeper & centre halves to even survive....the wing backs are good going forward but they’ll actually have to defend come August.
