I think if jack is anything like he was against blues - and his cameo v Sunderland looked very promising - we could beat anyone in this league

In theory, Wolves’ 343 formation should mean he can find the space to get at that back three. Though I’d have thought Nuno will have a plan for him.

Can't see anything better than a draw here realistically. They had a blip, they bounced back, they're highly unlikely to let Cardiff any closer as they are a much much better team. Bruce will set out to frustrate them, 1-1 for me - it won't be exciting but could be a valuable point.

They might just be too good for us, but you never know with Villa at home in a big match.
3-2 to us.

We had a blip and bounced back with six points and seven goals in two away games.

A few times and including awAy to Wolves we have been over run in midfield.
Bruce really needs to get our shape sorted out.
They will look to target a Jack and isolate our centreforward as they did 3 against Davis.
Looking forward to this and hope the atmosphere matches the occasion.

We’ve a better side and in better form than when we played at their place. They’ve wobbled a little bit recently and the pressure will be on them to do us. Our win at Sunderland and relatively easy game will see us in a strong shape. Plus it’s at VP. Plus it’s Wolverhampton Wanderers. What can go wrong? 2-1.

Just saying that name conjures the image of kid’s books tramps with all their stuff in a tea towel tied to a stick slung over their shoulder.

2-1 either way. Will Wolves' better footballing side beat a team which has learned how to win without playing consistently well? Or, can we grind them down, whilst not giving them too many opportunities?

Difference is Blackburn was a meaningless game for us, sha could be fecked for years if they drop. And I say that as someone that wanted us to drill Blackburn and still think a couple of Villa fans wearing a Blackburn shirt was very sad and embarrassing.
I completely agree with this.

Elmo, Chester, JT, Hutton (if fit)
               Thor
          Hourihane, Jack
Snodgrass               Adomah

Agreed. Hogan seems to be blowing a bit cold again and Grabban is more of a handful. Need some legs in midfield so Thor gets it over Mile. JT and Snoddy did both get some treatment at Sunderland so hope they are fit.
