SOL is a great ground to watch football although I don't like how they've changed the away end seating and put them Newcastle style up in the Gods now. I assume not a great view compared to behind the goal a few years back?

Anyway looking forward to watching Walsall there next season.

I'm pleased with the three points and another clean sheet Sunderland look doomed Jack played well when he came on happy days.

Big decision for Bruce on Saturday now. Assuming Jack starts, he has to drop either Grabban or Hogan, neither of whom have done anything wrong. For me, I'd start with Grabban as I think he's more likely to score but in doing so, how much would it knock Hogan's confidence?

I'd start with Jack and Grabban. Hogan runs around a lot but hasn't played a decisive role for several games. And why does Johnstone persist in booting the ball upfield to Hogan, who never, never gets his head to the ball, unlike Adomah and Snodgrass, who are also not particularly tall but have better timing.
I was talking to Sunderland fans before the game and they really don't rate Grabban, saying that he was lazy and scored all his goals inside the 6-yard box. Well, if he scores a dozen for us like he did for them I don't mind where they come from!

This is more or less where I am. I have a slight reservation about tinkering with the attacking line up that have done so well post Brentford but Grabban has impressed me enough for me to think we'd be better off starting him ahead of Hogan. I really feel for Hogan because he's given everything but does not seem suited to our playing style.

Grabban hasn't appeared lazy to me and although nearly all of his goals have been from inside the 6 yard box, you still have to get yourself in the right place at the right time and there's no denying that Grabban is very good at doing just that.

Feel sorry for Sunderland, they're were we were 2 years ago. Perhaps a spell in the 3rd tier will see all the rotten apples depart and they start from the ground up again e.g. youth players and hungry players desperate to prove.

I am ecstatic that we won 3-0 away at Sunderland. The QPR postponement cheesed me off and I was afraid we would have lost some momentum gained again after the brilliant Owls win. We've won more games now in a season since the early 90's? 

Frankly, a complete 93rd minutes under siege then breakaway last second deflected off post then hit the keeper own goal that made us win the match, I don't give a F***. We won and that's all that matters. 3 points, that much closer to a return to the top flight. The joy of winning, how the heart sings!

Well done to Bruce and the Villa Boys. I havent been this happy as a Villa fan for a long, long time. I hope they didnt extend themselves too much after the 3rd goal, its a long trip back and we need them fresh for the dingles.

Beat the Wolves and it's not only revenge but panic will set in on the "mind the gap" wankers. (Boycie laugh)

Sunderland Brexiteers 0 Aston Villa 3. I have no sympathy for them.  They were the poster boys for it.  Their fate is a metaphor for the impending decline of the UK after you know what.

Grow up there is a thread all dedicated to that if you want to discuss.

As for the game - I liked the way that for 1st and 2nd goals how many of our players were driving into the box. I was checking the other games on BBC  web site and Cardiff although leading 2-1 conceded 61% possession and Barnsley had 19 attempts to their 11. They were very close to dropping 2 points. I think their luck may change. I also know that last game Colin Wanker had a right go at Grealish for getting a man sent off - so I would expect the plastic faced one to target him for some rough treatment.
They have also just completed a run of 5 on the trot wins - surely they cannot keep it up?

Would play Grabban for Adamoah, harsh call but Grabban is the man in form and seems better suited dropping off the front man. Looks a very handy signing based on his first few games.
