Dead Black Cats 0-3 Aston Villa
« on: March 06, 2018, 09:38:29 PM »
We may not have an easier game this season. We didn’t have to get out of 2nd gear most of the evening. Very professional display and most encouraging was the return of Jack and Bertie. Bring on the dogheads.

No dead cat bounce. Sunderland are one of the worst sides i've seen. Fairfield Villa would beat them. We didn't play that well, we didn't need to.

Well done boys.

Good, professional, performance by the sound of it. I reckon Derby have fucked it so it's one from three now. Maybe two from four if Wolves fail to beat Leeds and lose to us.

Good luck to Sunderland for the rest of the season, hopefully they'll prove the thread title wrong.

With 4 games in 10 days that's exactly what we wanted. Solid performance. Well done lads.

A routine win against one of the worst sides I have ever seen.

Grealish and Adomah returning is going to make a difference in the run-in - especially Jack, who is the beating heart of the side. Pulls the strings, makes us tick, whatever metaphor you want to use - the game just seems to happen around him these days. I could watch the lad play all day.

I didn't realise small heath have changed their name again. All I ever hear is people calling them by their new name, Birmingham City Nil.

Excellent result.  Can’t believe how tight it is at the top.

I reckon Villa and Fulham to take the automatic places. Wolves to go up via the play-offs is my prediction....

Just heard they have scored 11 goals in 18 home games. Is that right? If it is that makes them even worse than I thought.

28 points out of the last 33 and we're still only third!
