So is the absence of Sunderland fans due to an organised protest or is it general apathy and resignation?

Both. They're down and playing like Aston Villa circa 2015/2016

They're playing Paranoid by nonsense Halloween band Black Sabbath. Presumably after some dilligent research on the "What music?" thread.

Time to cash in, goal difference could be important

Great to get the second just before half-time.  The way the other results are going, we need a win tonight.

I think the code on AVTV is so as they can nab people who stream it on social media.

I just noticed a dead black cat pass by me twice

there’s no way we are not going to win this
Sunderland are the worst team I’ve seen in years

Yup. We could have put out our second XI and we'd be comfortably winning. We've hardly stepped out of second gear ourselves, they're that poor. We really should take advantage tonight and go for double figures.

Very sloppy. Chester made 3 mistakes, we've given it away cheaply and haven't moved the ball well.

There is no urgency to move the game on. They're desperately poor though.

The way that other results are going, we need to take this opportunity to give our goal difference a turbo boost.

Or Sunderland 2005-6

It's only just dawned on me that Sunderland's manager is Coleman and the Stadium of Light is built on the site of an old colliery.

And our Terry is a slaaag

Right Villa up the game in the second half.

The way results keep going at the top end, it feels like the first team to get less than a win will be left behind.
