Surprised to see Adil Rashid has signed a one year all forms contract with Yorkshire.

Yeah, didn't expect that.

Kent now 121 for 8!

167 all out. So if we can make 200, we are Champions unless we lose. Any less than that and only a win would do.

Annoying last wicket partnership but 200 is more than achievable

Yep, opposition tail end partnerships are always very frustrating and irritating!!  Forget 200, should be looking at posting the kind of total that is going to put us in a winning position.  We've been doing it pretty consistently over recent weeks.

One more wicket for Yorkshire at Worcester and they will relegate Lancashire.

First target for the bears is to get to 200, then add as many as we can on top, the batting point is hugely important though because it is, effectively, insurance, if we get to that our destiny is our own and all they can do is push hard for the win.

Currently up to 41/0 (8) so started pretty positively, Rhodes has hit form at just the right time for us.

Not necessarily as Lancs could still mathematically catch Notts, I think.

Yeah just checked that, BBC fake news. After the Twitter 'banter' coming from them after the T20 match be interesting to see if Yorkshire send commiserations.

Bears on to 90/0 after 26

Rhodes 53*
Sibley 32*

Again, they really do seem to have settled as a pairing now, since the championship restarted in August they've been excellent.

The last 20 minutes have been interesting, Rhodes seems to have scented blood.

139/0
Rhodes 95*
Sibley 36

that's 7 4s and a 6 in 5 overs.

Especially looking at the possible vacancies in England's top order, hope he does the business next year in Div 1.
