Leicestershire  lose another one, four each for Barker and Patel.

Not looking good for Sussex, either. They've just lost their sixth.

196 all out and the Bears win by an innings and 104 runs. I think that puts us 12 points clear of Kent.

Sussex are 113-8

Come on you Bears!

Assuming Sussex lose, which is now looking pretty good, the table would be...

Bears 207
Kent 195
Sussex 174

If we avoid defeat in our next game, at Sussex, we are promoted.

Battle is on for the title. Kent are at home to Glamorgan next, and the final game of the season is Bears vs Kent.

Interesting what kind of pitch Sussex will prepare bearing in mind the toss can be uncontested.

Great performance from Bears today got a little sloppy in field but I think it was understandable with the win guaranteed. Make sure we don't lose as someone said and we're up. Now the race on to find cheap hotel for next week now. Have a few in Leicester before jumping on rattler

Hopefully only the first will be interesting as we will have the title wrapped up before Kent arrive. 😊

Excellent win for Yorkshire in the Roses match with the double whammy of going above Lancashire, was convinced we were going down but given ourselves a more than good chance of staying up now.

Massive result for you, I think Lancs and Worcs are fucked now to be honest, unless the latter do something spectacular with the ball in the next half hour.

Going to be a real struggle next season I think, going to miss Jack Brooks in particular.
