Kent off to a decent start as well unfortunately, have Middlesex 57/3

Sussex game away to Durham is delayed for bad light.

This Warwickshire attack, With Brookes to come in for Wright is far too good for division 2, Woakes is clearly an international bowler, Stone and Brookes could easily join him, Patel is possibly the best spinner in either division and Barker has been consistently good for years.

Lovely balance to that attack as well Paul.  Having Woakes back in the side is a massive boost.

Absolutely, all fit and available it's close to the perfect county attack, my worry is that 2-3 of them will be taken by England over the next 18 months.

All done, Leics skittled for exactly 100.

3 each for Barker and Stone, 2 for Woakes and 1 for Wright with a Woakes run out making up the difference. brilliant bowling performance.

Kent has Middlesex in trouble unfortunately, 119/8. The last pair managed to add 39 but it's looking pretty ominous.

Bears (well Sibley) seem to have decided to race to parity, 14/0 after 3 overs, Sibley with consecutive boundaries in the 2nd over which went for 12.

Bears are 123-0 at tea. A good day so far but we must kick on and secure as many batting bonus points as possible.

Where are you PGW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what happened with the toss but Leics are batting and are 42 for 3
2 for Barker and 1 for Woaksie

I was at Grace Rd yesterday...had tickets for today but knocked on the head, forecast not good at all. Better tomorrow so will jump on rattler in morning.
Highlight for me apart from the bowling was the spell between lunch and tea where Dom Sibley destroyed the Leicester bowling. Dom not playing with any real confidence of late but his first 50 came in 49 balls including 11 x 4's. After Tea Leicester bowled much better but Dom knuckled down and had plenty of purpose about his game taking i believe a further 107 balls to get to his ton. Was a great knock. All the bowlers bowled well but Chris Woakes took a little longer to get into his stride.
A lot of interest shown in Chris Wright by the Foxes members as he becomes a Fox next season.
Comedy highlight of the day was the run out of Cosgrove, anyone who remotely knows him should realise that he ain't the quick single sprinter. His run out was a classic..Woakes to Dexter who pushes toward mid off and calls Cosgrove through Woakes carries on with his follow through and throws down the stumps...i don't think Cosgrove was in the same county.
A great days cricket....but a demerit mark for the Leicester announcer who failed to mention that the one wicket taken by new to be Fox was his 400th first class wicket.

Hopefully get some play today to strengthen the position and win it tomorrow.
