I'd say 10-12 overs after lunch we need to have 220ish on the board and then put them in if we want to go for the win, if we go longer than that then I'd guess we've settled for the draw.

Just before lunch our lead is only 128.

Lunch 113/4 41 overs
Ambrose 25
Hain 20
Lead 131.
Durham have bowled really well to restrict Bears to 85/3 off 30 overs in the session. I think that Bears are out of this game now, If Durham continue to bowl
well they may have opportunity to win this. Patel bowling well from the one end drying Bears runs up 2/21 off 15. Going to be extremely difficult from here to set up
a large enough target for our own Patel to do his stuff......my opinion on the play this morning.

Not at the game, but from following it online, that seems a pretty good summation.  Need to at least ensure the draw from here.

I would imagine Kent will beat Northants who require a further 151 from minimum 69 overs but with only
4 wickets in hand.
So assuming we draw Points should be:
Bears 189
Kent 179
Sussex 171
Going to be an intriguing end of season with Sussex hosting us (Sept 18) and then Bears hosting Kent (Sept 24) and next Mondays games
all three of us away from home:
Leicester v Bears (tickets bought for days 1&2)
Durham v Sussex
Middlesex v Kent

Patel is the problem here, as mentioned above we're really struggling to score off him.

Kent have won
Bears could lose this in trying to set a total. 43 overs left minus a couple for changeover

I said a lead of about 220 and I'm sticking with that because it's tempting enough that they might go for it but not something you'd get without taking some risks.

Kent have won so avoiding a defeat would still be massive.

199 all out 7/54 for Patel
218 to win.
Bizarre dismissal for Sidebottom slams ball to square but hits Will Smith on helmet and bounces off helmet to be C&B Patel.
40 overs left i believe ...Tea being taken.
