Bears will probably need to win all their remaining matches to scrape qualification?

Bears have signed another 'quickie', Oliver Norwell has joined us from Gloucestershire on a 3 year contract from the start
of next season.
Don't know a great deal about him other than he took around 60 wkts for Glouc last season.
Wright out Norwell in.

That’s a very good solid signing for you guys, whenever Worcs played Glos over recent years he’s always seemed to be the stand out

Anyone go tonight? Was at the re-opening of the Durham Ox for those that know it - not bad a couple of pints of Silhil Brewery Blonde Star. But more importantly looked a good win on paper - we couldn’t sneak the quarters could we ?

I went and saw a very professional display, Notts rarely troubled us. Their first two overs went for 19 off Patel and Thomason and I feared the worst. OHD and Poysden bowled well and we took all of our chances. The batting was clinical, Bell and De Grandhoome were excellent.

If we win tonight we should go above Lancashire into the top four.  If we then win our remaining two games on Wednesday and next Friday then we should go through to the quarterfinals. It’s a big ask though.

Two games in a row against Lancashire (not "Manchester", I notice, they still seem to respect their history). Seems like odd planning.

If we win both we have a real chance of going through. Lose either and it's unlikely. Lose both and we are fucked.

Bears team for tonight, one surprise our star turn with the ball last night missing, no OHD.
Team: Pollock, Bell, Hain, Hose, CDG,
Elliott, Alex Thomson, Ambrose, Patel, Thomason, Poysden

We lost the toss and r bowling.
