Is Barker injured? OHD worries me regardless of the colour of the ball in his hand!

I will always support OHD whatever format...in T20 he bowls at the key times and takes wickets, he does go for runs but so does every other
medium or quick bowlers.

COYB. I'm more than happy to put up with not challenging in the Twenty20 so long as we can get out of this rubbish league.

A Lancashire bowler has just taken an impressive hat-trick, Root, Williamson and Bairstow.

Those are some scalps in any form of cricket.

More than 14,000 test runs in that hat trick.

Middlesex all out for 236. HobblyDobbly, Wright and Sidebottom got 3 apiece.
HobblyDobbly very good first session swinging in Yorkers. Woakes was mince/rusty.

Disappointing start to the morning with Wright (14), Woakes (7) and Ambrose (8) all being dismissed cheaply.
Hopefully we can manage to get some sort of lead but at 191/7 it may be a struggle. 195/7 Patel off mark.
Rhodes (61no) needs to stay there and keep constructing his  total towards a 100.
