Leicestershire all out for 207, so hopefully should chase that down without too many difficulties.  Really like the look of the Bears side today - looks a strong outfit.

Very comfortable win in the end for the Bears and another ton for Trotty.  Might jinx it, but they are looking a strong side in this format of the gam3 and the side ha# a really good balance to it.

I thought a sunny day might bring out a few fans but there was a small crowd at Edgbaston today. Still it was good to be able to get out on the pitch during the interval again, something that I’m glad they’ve reintroduced.

Leicestershire were poor and the Bears were not troubled by them and If we had needed to chase another 100 runs we would have easily done it. Trott’s innings was typical of him, before you knew it he’d got to 50 and you were left hoping that he’d get his ton before the result was confirmed. He will leave a big hole in our line up next season.

More crazy scheduling means that we play Worcester on Thursday at 2pm when most people are at work and the kids are back at school. It would have made more sense to play them today and attract a bigger crowd then play Leicestershire on Thursday instead.

If I have got the dates right, one of the semi finals is on a Monday!!

Does anyone know what the tiebreaker criteria is for the one day cup? Head to head or net run rate? Can't find it anywhere online.

No. of wins first then the usual head to head and run rate.
It's the number of wins that may cost Bears...really need to win Thursday, doesn't help having more games rained off than anyone else
