I think a mass synchronous 'oh for fucks sake' would work so much better.

Or we all simultaneously blow a raspberry

When my wife accompanied me for a couple of seasons, she was expressed surprise to discover that Downing's first name was Stuart, rather than Fucksake.

I once booed at Sorenson, incensed as I was at yet another godawful fucking kick that was aimless. It was a little out of character, I was on my own doing it and it sounded more like I was shouting to give him a surprise.

It was involuntary almost.

I think booing at half time should only be aimed at the bar service in the stands.  That is perfectly justified.

And before I get shot at, I'm joking.

But it is shit.

It should have been Weasel but it was Stewart.

I follow Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga and they have been shite for ages -relegation beckons, if they don't up their game and sharpish. A couple of weeks ago in Hoffenheim, the travelling support finally lost their collect rag and hurled abuse at them for the last twenty minutes. This led to the players not even acknowledging the fans at the end. Next day the club, trainer and players sent a joint open letter whinging about how upset they were and how much they were all trying really, really hard to avoid relegation and the negative attitude of the fans was really not helping... Anyone like to hazard a guess as to how that went down?

Maybe the club could help us out by flashing images of the Phantom Raspberry Blower on the screens during injury time.

You're not watching Joe Pasquale in Aladdin at the Alex.

I agree but the whole thing is a pantomime. Oh yes he did, oh no he didn't, songs sang to old music hall tunes, play-acting on the pitch, fans reacting in the same old way to the same old stuff that happens in every single game.

It's the 50+ bald blokes giving it large like they're 18 that make me laugh the most. Silly old bollockses.

Should ban the over 50's (bald or hairy) from supporting Villa in any way, shape or form

Oh well, guess us old bastards will always have the memory of winning the league and European Cup.
