I'd happily bring in green and o'hare, they offer pace and skill and more importantly are VILLA players.

Onumah just looks like he's treading water until he goes back to Spurs (i'd have sent him back by now).

The ALbert rumour comes from the physio on Twitter.

I hope Bruce isn't considering replacing him with Bjarnason. Andre Green is the obvious replacement.

I doubt he'd start Green when he hasn't played for months.

Since coming back from his injury he's been scoring for fun for the Reserves. He's more than ready to step up.

There's a world of difference between the U23s and championship football. Just ask Tishibola. I'd be very surprised if the starting 11 includes anyone who wasn't in the 18 on Sunday.

He's already got 18 first team appearances under his belt, 2 of those being in the PL. I hope we don't have again 4 defensive midfielders on the bench.

With Odomah and Grealish out I'd pack the midfield, strangle the life out of the game and look to nick one at a set piece. Won't be pretty but if it works who cares.

If it's only niggles to both Adomah and Grealish, then I wouldn't leave both of them out for such an important game.

I know he's played 18 times. The point is, he hasn't played for several months and has not even made the 18 since his return to fitness. It would be a massive gamble to start with Green and one that we don't need to take. If it were Burton at home or we were 7 points behind Fulham then I'd get your point but the fact is, we don't need to win this game. it is potentially the hardest of the 15 that we have remaining and a draw would leave Fulham needing to win 2 more games than we do out of the last 14. A draw would be a fantastic result - Even better if we are missing key players.

If (and we don't know for certain yet) Adomah is not playing, we need to ensure that whoever comes in can protect Hutton first and foremost. Green could be off the pace after a long lay off but there are others in the squad who would be guaranteed to hit the ground running. This would be to the detriment of the slightly better attacking option that Green could possibly bring but the priority tomorrow is not to lose. We don't have to go gung ho, all out attack.

Having now just watched a recording sent to me of Bruce conference I like how he's talking. Bruce knows experience matters and with game on Tuesday too the way he's talking about defensive solidarity and potential injuries I wouldn't be surprised if that Tuanzebe Whelan Bjarnason And Jedinak along with attackers  Odomoah and  Grabban start tomorrow.

I think Green would be a natural replacement for Adomah. Not sure who could come in for Jack. It would be interesting to see O'Hare given that role but I imagine that will be too bold for Bruce.
It'll be Onomah, probably; not someone I rate.

Is Grealish a doubt for tomorrow, or is he definitely out?

Bruce has been known to bluff - he said Terry was doubtful for Forest away during his Friday press conference and Terry started.

I don’t quite get all the antipathy towards Onomah

We’d have been fucked without him. I thought he did well earlier in the season - including the home game v Fulham
