Think I've got it...

Bakerloo Line Marylebone to Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Line Piccadilly Circus to Earl's Court

District Line Earl's Court to Putney Bridge

That works, yeah?

Just had a look and that sounds ok.

Quicker to take the Bakerloo to Oxford Circus, Victoria to, erm, Victoria, District to Putney Bridge (Wimbledon train). The Piccadilly line is always really busy on a weekend in town - a mix of tourists and people travelling to/from Heathrow with their effing suitcases (my nearest station is on the Piccadilly so I use it much more often than I'd like to).

👍

Quite fancied getting there by boat, but the twats only run that service during the week.

It's not like any tourists ever visit London...

Adomah is out which is poor news

Where is this being reported?  He's in a video on the official Twitter account today, showing all the players training.  Also the Twitter account yesterday had something about how important he was for this weekend's game.

I watched the Twitter video and couldn't spot him. And I bought my specs at Specsavers ...

Can find absolutely nothing to suggest Adomah is out of Saturday's match

Could be as many as 7000 Villa at Craven Cottage. Almost a 1/3 of the stadium. We’re going to make a lot of noise.

You could get the clipper to battersea and then go on a scenic pub crawl from there to the ground. Good start to the day if you ask me!!

Anyone ever got the tube to Hammersmith instead of Putney Bridge when going to Fulham? I realise it's a longer walk to the ground but I'm just thinking it may be less crowded, especially the pubs.

I did Hammersmith for that Sunday lunchtime game, whenever that was. It was alright, stroll along the river, plenty of places to slake one's thirst, which were, from memory, a bit quieter than those around Putney.

Edit; Although that could've just been because it was early, and a Sunday. Obviously.

There were some rumours. I think he picked up a hammy first half v blues but was obviously mild enough. Hopefully ok. But I wouldn’t take a risk
