I don’t see much wrong with Scudder’s tweet and I don’t think we should sing this city is ours. Unnecessary.

The chant seems to have got under their skin so it's fine by me.

Oh and I work in Derby and it’s all rather subdued in the office today. Spoke to one lad he’s shitting it.
Oh come on tell him to be a realist. Derby had done well to hang in second for few weeks but at best they are play off material and I wish Gary the best in achieving that.

Absolutely, and I dont think Brian Little could actually walk on water so that song can go as well.

If anything, this goes to show that it should only be encouraged.

My mate has posted the 'drank in town and didn't see a Villa fan all day' stuff, he didnt mention how many people he'd asked.

I think one day a few of them might work out that that this 'peoples club' stuff is rather undermined by the published attendances.

Love it.

I would say that the a lot of our support who live in Birmingham reside in the North side of the city, so why on earth would they go into town to watch the match?  Maybe he should have visited a few pubs in places like Great Barr, Kingstanding, Erdington and New Oscott if he knows where they are of course.

Me too.  They used to reply with "when Blues are at Wembley, the city is yours", but that is a bit past it's sell-by date now.

Why does anyone bother looking at that stuff? You know they'll spend all of today telling everyone they meet about how they were in town/didn't see any Villa/sat in da Holt and sang all match. Some of the kids in their class might even believe them.

It's very funny how much it winds them up. One day they'll evolve enough to realise that yes, we do have more support outside the city than they do, we also have more in it which is why we can pull 40K+ for a derby and think nothing of it while they cream themselves and type "CODE RED" at each other when it looks like they may get 25K at the sty.

The only town or city where there are more Blose fans than Villa is Solihull. Even then, there's not much in it.

Where do you even begin with shit like this?

It's the ones from North of Brum that bug me. Why? Because there are other clubs from those areas that they really should be supporting.
Walsall Villa, Black Country Villa, brownhills, pelsall, staffs etc,....Have they not heard of Walsall, WBA, Wolves?
That is gloryhunting!

Worcester is a satellite town south of Brum ( as we all know)..I guess people there have to support a Brum team as Brum is probably
closest area to where there are LEAGUE clubs ( yes i know about worcs city) and there a few ex pat Brum folk there too i suspect

I enjoy feeling their pain.
