A couple of their fans have let their side down, saw a couple of them tweet "surrounded by Vile fans in the Square Peg". That can't be true? We don't venture into the city centre because we're scared.
Q.V. you’ll be pleased to know I was drinking up town Sat night, had a black Villa padded jacket on, only saw one bollock wearer all night, he thought briefly about saying something then must have realised that he didn’t have two hundred other bollock wearers with him and that I was quite happy to make his day if required .

I roused myself having got home from my birthday party at 8.30am to follow that match on here and a dodgy stream. Just woken up again now. An absolute belter of a day. Life begins at 1874.

All our players give a shit. I actually like Aston Villa again.

And we are going up.

Yeah they seem to love the club, just like us......we've got our Villa back

""....
Probably going to have a bad head in the morning but UTV.......

For the first time in years we sang "And Its Aston Villa, Aston Villa FC.....GREATEST TEAM." and it actually felt it.

Steve Bruce, whatever you may say, has certainly restored belief in the club

Still smiling x 2, in fact my face is hurting with all the grinning I've done all day.

Not a bad feeling to take in to the week is it. Great performance from all the players, they all did the job they had to do yesterday and some (Jack, Jedi) put in exceptional performances. UTV!

Nice birthday present. Thank you Villa.

Gees the collective psyche of that other club is complete utter desperation and resentment as a collective. They can go on being obsessed with us or whomever we're playing and we can completely forget about their existence and the horse they rode out of the centre of town on.

Check out the bitterness on the ‘Villa thread’ over on SHA. Classic stuff.

You're not wrong  ;D

I think this is my favourite:
Quote
Glad it's over but for how long? Maybe a little contentious, maybe a bit of a hissy fit kind of a reaction, but this afternoon I thought to myself that I almost don't mind if they do go up (which I believe is now nailed on). I am sick of them, and I'm sick of these games now. I'll look forward to not facing them for a bit.
They've rolled the dice, shit or bust to return to the premier, at stake either survival or financial meltdown. Bigger clubs in the past have done the same and come unstuck, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, them feckers though, obviously come up smelling of roses.
They're up and I'm paying them no more mind this season, but am I alone in almost thinking "oh just go up then and f*ck off out of the way you bunch of jammy, weasly little snidey pricks

So much despondency and bitterness in one post.

I do like how he says he's 'paying us no more mind this season' then goes on to post about us again twice afterwards. Marvellous.

I actually feel quite cheerful heading to work on a Monday morning. This is very strange.

The only slight downer on a fantastic day was that the game wasn’t in mid April so we could give them a rousing rendition of We’ll Meet Again..maybe next time, if there ever is a next time.
