Great result, great performance, great goals, great atmosphere. To see the whole stadium doing going up and going down was immense. Holteenders in the sky always brings a year to my eye and DLBIA, the Villa say is meant for days like today. So glad to get this win! On a side note Burton are a far better team than scum, so beware scum, relegation looms.

Great result.
Poor connection on ESPN 3 but enough to see how bad the pitch is.

Rock solid performance all round today. Great atmosphere, great job done.
So many positives but Grealish, Terry and Jedi immense. Looking good boys!

I watched the game in a bar with a few St Helens egg-chasing league fans who were over to see their side spank the Catalan Dragons. Special mention to She-who-must-be-obeyed who drove me the 17km into Perpignan, went home then came back to get me so I could get pleasantly wankered on pints of Jupiler @€5.90 a go. Crowd sounded well noisy on the telly and all.  UTV!

I was out all afternoon, in a pub with no bloody mobile coverage and sketchy wifi. Sounded like I missed a great win.

Then I came home and watched the highlights. What a win, what a pair of goals, what a stadium, what a noise. What a football club.

I enjoyed that as much if not more than the 5-1
Scenes and limbs in the upper North when we scored.Fan-fucking-tastic!

I managed to get a stream to watch.
1st half, we were so much better, but they made a game of it.
2nd half, the class showed
Glory, Glory Aston Villa.
Holte end rocking, what more could we ask for

Loved being at VP today, it was certainly one to be there for!
Great atmosphere, superb fans, right result!
I don’t think Johnstone had to make a serious save all game.

Ah Terry Cooper and his insistence it was offside.

There's a circus in the town...

Huh, how?

Dean Saunders in 1993. Cooper and Jimmy Greaves had no idea what the offside rule was.

In your own half you mean as was the case

Not to mention Alan Parry saying how harsh Tait’s sending off was.

Violent Conduct even a quarter of a century ago was instant dismissal.

Did you see Bruce after the first goal?

Jedinak had a great game and although Bjarnason probably felt hard done by, it proved a good decision. It was very noticeable that he left the field well ahead of the others whilst they celebrated - poor form.

Very strange behavior. He really didn't hang around, not even a handshake. He was the first player off the pitch from either side.

Their fans were dreadful, made next to no noise.

I honestly think 500 Burton Albion fans made more noise the other week.

Close to tears, I thought.
