Great result and I’m pleased it’s over. Might be quite some time before we have to play those tossers again.

Haven’t been less stressed in a derby since the 5-1. Was only briefly concerned when we went in level after dominating the first half.

Whatever else is said about him, Bruce has done a great job on the club’s former basket-case mentality. And big-ups to Agnew, and Bruce for appointing him.

Not sure about no stress I was convinced we had blown it after such a one sided first half

Unlike them if the boot was on the other foot, I feel no need to gloat or give it the big 'un. They are arguably the worst Small Heath team I have ever seen along with the team of the late eighties and early nineties. Even Terry Coopers Triton Showers of shit vintage gave us a better couple of games in the cup in the BFR days. Our second goal was fanastic, which set me thinking about our best goals against them. I thought of Allan Evans in 1980 and Gary Cahill's  at The Holte. Plus peter Withe's at the Holte in 1983 for a bit of comedy value. If my memory serves me right the two goals by Gage and Gray at their place in the league cup in 1988 were decent.

Cotterill gave an honest summing up, said they deserved nothing from the game and that the occasion got to some of his younger players.

That N’Doye for them is one of the worst players I’ve seen for ages. Twitter seems to be full of Heathens glad he got sent off so they don’t have to watch him for a while.

Wait till you see our record in the next twelve league games against them.

If any of us live long enough to see it. ;)

he's one of those players that you honestly wonder how they ever made it to be a professional footballer. Just a big dumb lug with next to no talent at all.

the two goal scorers today were Connor and Albert the same names as my two sons who were both there to see it

I’ve been very critical of Bruce and our performances for a long time now but we were fantastic today, as others have said one of the best derby games for years, we battered them from start to finish the 2 nil result flatterd them

Grealish is a master craftsmen on the pitch they could not cope with him and resorted to kicking him whenever they could it was their only tactic that I could see
