And the Gold Medal goes to Usain Bolt, but don't forget those races he lost.
And the winner by knockout is Anthony Joshua, but don't forget in his last fight he should have ended it in Round 5.
And the Oscar for best director goes to Steven Spielberg, but wasn't the last film he did rubbish for not winning.

Hah, you're a gas man altogether! Like I said, let's see what the mood is like on here when the streak inevitably comes to an end. I guarantee you nobody will be saying "...but we had a great January so at least there's that!" if we go on a bad run.

Of course they won't.  But hopefully they'll be saying their stuff in the Bruce out thread or such like, not in a thread specifically to congratulate him on his manager of the month award.

My apologies Chris, of course you're right. Since you've mentioned it, the Bruce Out thread is busy discussing how crap Henri Lansbury and Glenn Whelan are. Could you help in bringing that conversation back on topic too?

It is beyond me how you can turn a thread about 6 consecutive wins and a manager of the month award into a moan about how we played in December and how he reacts badly to criticism.  You must be a blast at parties.

Well done Steve well deserved.

But talking about the award as a whole, not just this one, I don't see the point in giving a manager an award for something his club has done over 3,4 or 5 games. The only award that matters is the Championship, or any other league, manager of the season.

Must be agony, feeling the topic of conversation slowly slipping away from you like this.

Patiently awaiting your appearance in the Bruce Out thread.

Yours, etc.

I've no idea what your first sentence means but if it's a compliment, thanks.

Of course a streak will come to an end. However, as my point previously suggested, why bring the tone down and moan about the past? You're suggesting nobody will bring up the good stuff in the past yet at the same time bringing out the negative. Bizarre.

Fair play to him, especially at a time like this for him and his family.
