Vargas has given it a good go. Fair play to him.

Khan has a lot of guts, but I’m not sure why he’s pursuing another tilt at it.

Frankie Gavin fought today. It was his opponent's 202nd fight and he's now lost 175 of them.

I was supposed to go to this, not to watch Gavin i must say but to watch a young friend of mine making his pro debut but the stupid donut fell off his bike and damaged his hand.
Thereby having to pull out.
Didn't realise that Gavins opponent had such an awful record. Timing of the event suited me if i'm honest a Sunday afternoon start and only in centre of town at Holiday Inn.

I am watching the fight tonight so I have had a bet on Joshua to win in round 6 at 12/1.  My son, who is the boxing expert in the family is at work so I didn't get chance to pick his brains for his opinion.

I see the first press conference for the Wilder v Fury fight descended into a predictably unedifying spectacle.  I'll try and avoid any upcoming ones I think.

When Adams has done. Don't wish to be sexist but really don't like to watch women's boxing.

I used to agree with you,  but I do  boxer combat with a woman  instructor - let me tell you there is nothing femiline about her moves and volocity of punch.

I watched this one in the pub, Adams is a perfectly competent boxer but the woman she was fighting looked like she'd never been taught to punch. It was like watching a drunk outside a club at 3am.

Cracking fight on Sky now. Ritson the local lad looks in trouble. It's in Newcastle,  Shearers in the front row, looks like he's had a few.
