Just got back in after being at the game.  Made very hard work of it, but got over the line in the end.  We just looked a bit flat from the off really and looked a little unsure at the back at times.

That said, we did have some decent spells during the game and we have players who are capable of producing match winning bits of quality in the final third.  The goals were decent and the first was particularly good.

I knew it wouldn't be easy so I'm delighted with the result.
Was annoyed that Bruce took off both wingers at the same time. Why not stagger the subs run the clock down?
I understood getting them off if they're tired and he did want to get the new lad from man utd on to snuff out the dangerous Dyer.
It would have been better to leave one of the two on for another 5 mins as soon as both went off burton scored.

great goals and Grealish is wonderful to watch at the moment even his tracking back was excellent. stone wall penalty.
Hogans work rate was out of this world. It was like he was doing shuttle runs chasing down burton centre halves who were playing it square to each other.

The subs seemed to interrupt our flow. If there were changes to be made at that point I would have expected Davis and Onomah to replace Hogan and Hourihane. I can only think that Snodgrass had a knock or that taking him off was to protect him from a second yellow card.

Putting onomah on was like going down to 10 men.

The ref was pants no protection whatsoever for grealish, John terry is worst game for us and he has been brilliant up to now and Adomah off the pace. True reflection of a poor game. Btw man of the match Hutton or grealish

Putting Onomah out wide isn’t really working.  We really could do with Green being on the bench as a wide option.

That's what happens when you don't pay the opposition any respect, especially in relation to the substitutions which were poorly timed and meant we unnecessarily surrendered the middle of the park, Tuanzebe totally wasted where he was played.

Pretty poor performance but there were some encouraging spells.

Grealish was excellent, great goal. Too many players looked jaded I thought.

Still, we took three points, and that is exactly the sort of result you need to pick up routinely to get out this division. We need to raise our game considerably for small heath though. It'll be their cup final and they're showing a bit of form at the moment.

I thought some of their players looked hugely overweight. Numbers 5 and 6 looked like the fat sweaty coppers off the fast show.

The keeper was a bit of a 'unit' as well.

Oh yes, forgot to say, I thought Bruce almost threw it away with those subs.

We were poor today, we made harder work of it than we should have but happy we got the points. The subs he made were a bit unnecessary and seemed to fuck us up a bit. As for the ref, him and the linesman on the Trinity Road side were utterly crap.

all three of them were and we should have had a penalty. I thought we looked ok going forward but defensively you know that at dome point collective narcolepsy will set in and it did. We have to learn how to defend corners and like others, I couldn't see the wisdom of the substitutions.

I still worry about Hogan, despite the recent goals.  14 touches today, according to Whoscored.  Obviously one of those was the goal so that's great, but other than that he offers nothing.  No runs, no touches, no build up play, he really is just there to tap it in.

I thought he ran his arse off today. As for only being there for tap ins, a tad harsh considering some of the headers he's put away recently.

I think you can get away with that in the Championship, as long as he's always moving and dragging defenders out of position, creating space for others. It's tougher in the PL of course, but we can cross that bridge when we get there.

6 wins on the bounce and one of the favourites for automatic promotion yet people still moan, probably the “fans” that don’t go down the matches.
Almost every around me in the Holte thought we were for the most part rubbish.
