Risso used to be married to Cheetrah until Hogan shagged her and run her over at the same time in some awful sex game gone wrong.

If you play Hogan at all, home or away, you're effectively playing with 10 men.  If he's not scoring, which let's be honest is the vast majority of the time, he isn't contributing anything else.  Grabban, Kodjia and even Davis add a lot more to the team.

Has he shagged your missus?!  Or ran over your cat?!

I reckon you've got a post in slagging Hogan off on pretty much every thread on this site...

It's a pretty accurate summation though unfortunately.

Sadly, I have to agree. It's got to the stage where I'm laughing at him. Such poor control, his one on one the other day, his simple opportunities wasted. At the same time there's something I admire about him, it's just not for us right now. As much as i want him to score and get some confidence, the poor lad must be thinking he'll never score again. Maybe that's why I admire him, he keeps trying.

Put him down to come off the bench in the final and score the winner. Why not? It's been that kind of season.

He used to bully Barney too but has backed-off a bit lately ;)

In 49 league games for us, 27 starts and 22 as sub, he's scored 7 goals. That's crap for any striker, never mind one that cost as much as he did. He tries and he runs but hasn't offered us much else. I think he's better than what we've seen but there's little doubt he's been a poor signing and a waste of money so far.

If we played Wigan reserves every week he'd outscore Messi.

People go on about not playing to Hogan's strengths, but since he's been here, he is yet to show what those really are.

Remember when we played to his strengths and he scored 5 in 5?

Which are? His movement is decent in the box only. Our midfield isn't so good that we can afford to have a goal hanger up top. I don't think Hogan fits our style of play at all, classic poorly scouted signing. Not a bad sub to have as does tend to get chances.

Grabban played great up top v Wolves but was bullied in the same position v Cardiff. I'd nearly start Kodjia v Derby if fit. Just to get some game time into him. Changed game when he came in against Cardiff.

I wouldn't trust him to hit the target in either situation!

Funny I thought Grabban actually played o.k v Cardiff and impacted on the game far more than Hogan would've done.

That throughball for Hourihane's chance was delicious.

Grabban looked better when he went left v Cardiff

I’d definitely sell Hogan if we could get anywhere near double digits for him - but I doubt we could

He was very good against Ipswich, and other games.  Much improved.

I'd imagine he'd command a price of below £4m now.

Yep, anywhere near double digits would mean nearly getting our money back on him and he's only regressed in the last 15 months with us. His dodgy injury record may also put teams off.
Then again, West Ham, who were after Hogan the same time as us, splurged about the same amount of money on Hugill from Preston who may have been impressive but wasn't overly prolific.
