Saw the first half on Sky, followed second half on here/Sky Sports News. Great way to win - when it's in our favour.

Biggest win of the season by far. For the first time I’m starting to believe

Me to but whisper it quietly.

I thought we did well to get a point, then a goal like that deserves to win any game. Snodgrass was pretty quiet too, but has that extra bit of quality. We should move heaven and earth to sign Johnstone the lad is top class. Momentum is with us now, shame it's not April !! UTV.

I see on the BBC it said we had to withstand a 'barrage', bit of an exaggeration.

One thing you can guarantee, every side in the division will fear Aston Villa having momentum.

HD TV doesn't do Lee Hendrie any favours.

Thought Thor did well again.

Clear 3rd now, and although we are looking up, there is  a nice gap opening up between us and the teams just outside the playoff places.

Quote from: Robert Snodgrass on Sky Sports
It was a very tough game. I think Sheffield United are where they are for a reason - they're a very good side. I'm delighted I got the goal, but I'm delighted for the boys because they worked so hard. As a winger you need to try to score goals and get assists, but as I say it's been a team performance.

I disagree that we were poor. Sheffield were excellent today and we had to defend very well to keep them out. Sam was a brilliant and we smashed and grabbed brilliantly. Superb.

That'll do.  Poor game overall but absolute screamer to win it.  Marvellous!  Johnstone easily MOTM.
I’ve just walked in and presenter and Lee Hendrie are describing it as a fantastic game

Bit of an overstatement but Johnstone made at least 6 good saves I'd say.
