One thing is for certain, we've stopped the rot as a club.

I agree. Bruce took over a basket case and has got us moving in the right direction. I don't like his style of football but we have optimism again.

I quite like expecting to get something, be it a win or a draw out of pretty much every game. I had forgotten what that was like for the best part of a decade.

What was really impressive yesterday was the defensive discipline we showed. Forest really nothing to look at in terms of shooting opportunities. A lot was down to Terry of course and his ability to pull players up a notch but Bruce being a top defender in his day takes credit too. What Bruce has instilled is a dogged determination which is absolutely critical to have at any club. We haven’t had that in a long time.

Lets not forget that we are now playing in a grossly inferior league, which helps greatly!

I would usually agree with you but I've just watched the game back and I really think we we deserved that result. AND we looked classy.

Indeed but winning is a great habit to have whatever league you're in.

I don't care what division we are in. If the club is to be turned around we had to stop losing and accepting it. When we are all on the same page  then I think we will go back up.

It might be an exageration but I honestly believe John Terry has raised the bar behind the scenes for what is acceptable massively. We need more winners and/or hungry players who want to make a name for themselves.

I think it's easier to stay in the Premier League than it is to win promotion out of the Championship. You have to be truly awful to get relegated - it took us several attempts to get to that level. I think if this side could be picked up and lifted into the Premier League, it would do ok...drift around the mid to lower part of the table without necessarily getting relegated. So if we did go up, improving where we're weak would help us no end.

If we went up it we'd find out just how deep Dr Tony's pockets actually are.

I don't think that would necessarily be the case - the 120 million plus for going up is a big wedge to hide behind.

A " grossly inferior League ", really ?. Try telling that to Brighton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, or even Burnley & Newcastle.  Lesser or secondary, agreed, but grossly inferior, I donīt think so..................Godzvilla!

Agree with this. Was chatting in a London barbers on Saturday about football, and the consensus was very much that the top six in the Premier League are head and shoulders above the rest, and then there's essentially fourteen top flight and ten second tier teams with not much between them.

I disagree, I think there's are 3-4 teams in the championship that could hold their own in the premier league and there are 3-4 in there who would struggle to be mid table in the championship (as Hull and Sunderland have proven).  I hate using the m word but winning games creates confidence, and confident players of championship quality will out play premier league players who are accustomed to losing.  The dominance of the top 6 has warped things so that a lot of the midtable teams struggle to find form which creates the churn but the quality of the squads in the premier league is far higher than most of the championship.  We're one of the top 2-3 squads in this league and yet I'd struggle to name more than 10-12 of our players that I'd be confident of after promotion.

I think 10-12 is being generous, I'd say 5-6 could hold their own and that's all.
