I think Bjork has played himself into the team. What he offers more than Jedinak is a bit of pace and better passing. It’s what we need

Is he only now being played in his strongest position?

If so, it's bloody ridiculous.

You do wonder. He looked so natural there, why hasn’t it been considered ever before?

Didnt he play there v Peterborough and was awful according to reports on here  :D

Re Andre Green, surprised he wasnt on bench today as would have been the obvious sub for AA, another injury setback?

Snodgrasses delivery and Hogans movement for the goal was a thing of beauty, Forest looked very poor but I think that was more down to our discipline. .

I’ve had a few rums in celebration and have come to the conclusion that I no longer give a feck about performances, I just want these wins to continue.

Classic Bruceball = Defend, hope for a goal. There is no attacking tactics, method or blueprint.

We won, and should have won by more, how about take some joy in that.

Thor was terrific in that role and if he maintains that level should start every week.

We’re really starting to look the part and hitting form at the right time. Long way to go but plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

Great day out. If we can find the second goal it would make life so much easier. A win is a win, however and the push continues. Bjarnason was great second half.

As many have already said, that was a great, professional, performance today.

Grealish really is maturing and made some exquisite passes today. He has a great football brain which I thought was epitomised today, once in each half, by two long kicks into touch deep in the opposition half which was just what we needed at the time so we could get men forward and press the resultant throw ins.

I was pleased to see Bjarnason, as in the first-half last week, given half a game in the holding role and thought he did really well there.

Again, as others have said, I didn't want Terry in the Summer but he has proved me wrong by his professionalism, and the example he has set both on and off the pitch.

I have been going to Forest away since 1977 and never seen us win there before today so am now off to bed with a smile on my face!

Yep, that's what was bugging me as well. You couldn't really see them scoring but at 1-0, there's always that 'what if' in the back of your mind.

I have not read the match thread but really thought we were ok today and in control.

Only player who I thought was not at the races today was Albert, but he still worked well defensively .

Jack was superb for me. Top player and he knows now how he haas to improve. The fitness coach who Jack knows seems to have been brilliant and I do wonder if John Terry has had some influence?

It might have been a flattering edit, but Villa looked rather good on Ch5 just now!

I watched it live on SKY and thought we looked pretty comfortable throughout. I think a lot of it is down to us having a very solid and confident keeper. Who is helped by a lot of experienced players in front of him.

Thor was terrific in that role and if he maintains that level should start every week.

Said in the thread about him that I would be interested to see him play a bit further forward, in the role that Hourihane plays at the moment.  When he is fit, I like Jedinak in the holding role as he's a real presence in there and wins everything.  I'd like to see Bjarnason a bit further forward and given licence to make runs into the box like he does for Iceland.

I liked him in that DM role today to be fair. I like Jedinak and Whelan, but he is more mobile

He did well today and agree that he offers more mobility than the two mentioned, but in this league I just like Jedinak's physical presence in there.  Good to have another option though.

OK it’s just one match but if Barny is the permanent solution for Whelan/Jedinak position rather than Onomah than its good news as I can’t see the other three contributing much next season for various reasons.
