Classic Bruceball = Defend, hope for a goal. There is no attacking tactics, method or blueprint.
Assume you didn't watch the game? We controlled it to the Terry header and then again for 30 mins on the 2nd half.

In fairness to him, most of the match thread were predicting doom based on the 10 minutes to the end of the first half so he wasn't alone.

He made two comments. One criticising our fans, the other criticising the manager after the win. Now, I'm not about to sit here and say the world is perfect, but the tactic that stood out was not to give Forest any clear cut chances which we managed to do. They got more and more frustrated all game. It's not the most aesthtically pleasing approach but it was the approach. He's either a whiny bastard or a troll. One of the two.

You are the one whining, maybe stick to Ice Hockey, mate.  >:(

Is Retsina alcoholic Ribena?

That was brilliant second half. Utterly professional and totally bossed them.

Thor added legs so the midfield went 10 yards higher up. Utterly dominated them.

Villa loud as fuck back into town.

Pleased to see Villa won despite Forest having a new manager. That kind of thing usually bites us in the arse.

I never thought I would ever say this but John Terry is the best player I have seen in a Villa shirt in years.

Someone in the press conference yesterday pointed out to Bruce he has faced more new managers than anyone else this season and won the most. Something like 4 in 5?

I was surprised as well but it looks liek Bruce is new manager bounce kryptonite :)

Why do you have a giant 'NOT' in your username? It's irritating.

We won. Enjoy.

Aye. We are very lucky to have him. I didnt particularly want him here but I was utterly wrong. He really is very high quality.

So our last 2 league games we beat Forest 1-0 who beat Arsenal, and beat (the team that have been lauded for how great they played against Man City) Bristol City 5-0.
We looked in control tonight, let's keep the momentum going who's next?
